CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Staff greeted students in front of Adlai Stevenson Elementary School in Cleveland’s Lee-Harvard neighborhood for the first time in a year as pre-K through second-, 10th-, and 12th-graders returned to the classroom.
“It’s a beautiful feeling,” said parent Dennis Cook.
The vote comes after Cleveland Metropolitan School District CEO Eric Gordon mandated all teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers return to their assigned worksites on Monday to teach remotely from their schools.

(Cleveland) - Cleveland Metropolitan School District CEO Eric Gordon has announced the plan that will bring children in Northeast Ohio s largest school district back to in-person learning for the first time since last spring.
Before children return to class, practice for spring sports begins Monday, February 22.
On Monday, March 1, the district will welcome back a number of our students with significant learning disabilities needing additional in-person attention and care.In addition to these students, some career-technical education students and some twelfth grade students requiring extra support may also be welcomed back to in-person learning.
Next, beginning on Monday, March 8, the CMSD will begin to welcome back several student groups, including Level 1 and 2 English Language Learners, PreK students, students in grades K through two, off-track 9thgrade students, off-track seniors, additional career-technical education students, and additional stude
