WINSTON, Ore. - Community members are speaking out after The Church of the Nazarene went up in flames Saturday leaving a congregation without a place to gather.
Cindy Slaymaker is the pastor of the church. She said she immediately received a call when the fire broke out. By the time she arrived at the scene, the air was filled with smoke and she could see it from several blocks away.

WINSTON, Ore. Winston police have confirmed that two boys are believed to have been involved in starting a church fire over the weekend.
Significant damage was done to the Church of the Nazarene, 385 SE Thompson Ave. Saturday afternoon. Officers arrived at the scene at about 2:30 p.m. and found the church engulfed in flames, and multiple fire agencies worked to put out the fire.
