Hanoi (VNA) – The
Ministry of Health recently
sent a dispatch to its hospitals, health departments of centrally-run cities
and provinces, and hospitals under universities urging them to strengthen
health check-up and treatment system to ensure emergency aid and treatment for
Accordingly, all district-level and second-tier hospitals must be equipped
with central oxygen systems, equipment and staff eligible to run the
systems.
In first-tier general hospitals
and above, there must be at least 50 beds and 100 beds when necessary in intensive care departments, together with central oxygen systems and staff to provide emergency aid for patients in critical conditions.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam detected 909 new cases of
COVID-19 over the last 12 hours to 6am on July 14, raising the
national count
to 35,409, according to the Ministry of Health.
They comprise four imported cases and 905 local
infections, including 666 in Ho Chi Minh City; 80 in Dong Nai; 44 in Khanh Hoa;
43 in Ben Tre; 19 in Ba Ria – Vung Tau; 18 in Phu Yen; 17 in Vinh Long; four
each in Ninh Thuan and Tay Ninh; two each in Kien Giang, Thua Thien-Hue, An
Giang and Bac Ninh; and one each in Soc Trang and Binh Dinh.

Home-quarantine to be piloted nationwide
Vietnam will pilot a nationwide home-quarantine programme for F1 people who had close contact with Covid-19 patients.
The move was made by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam following the Ministry of Health’s proposal.
At an online meeting on HCM City’s Covid-19 situation held on Monday, Dam said that he had received many opinions suggesting the home-quarantine.
At present, the pilot home quarantine is being applied in HCM City. People who come into close contact with Covid-19 patients can quarantine themselves at home for 28 days, but strictly following regulations.
