Developers behind an amenity-packed residential project in Dumbo are looking to sell its rental portion for $235 million the biggest offering of its kind so far this year in Brooklyn.
CIM Group and LIVWRK have put the 320-unit rental portion of their Front & York project on the market, according to an offering memo for the property.
The block of rentals is part of the 1.1 million-square-foot building at 85 Jay Street designed by architect Morris Adjmi. The development also includes 131,000 square feet of retail and 408 condominiums, which are not part of the offering.

The company in question is Airtouch Solar, which as far as is known seeks to raise NIS 80 million ($25 million) at a pre-money valuation of NIS 500 million. Airtouch Solar, which was founded in 2016 by its chairperson Yanir Allouche, develops, manufactures, sells, operates, and maintains robotic solutions for dry (waterless) cleaning of photo-voltaic panels, in order to obtain maximum output. In 2018, CIM Group and Golub & Company expanded their Mag Mile footprint by paying $138 million for a 36-story Class B office tower.
For the 444 North Michigan Avenue property, the partners proceeded with an $18 million capital improvement program. That expanded its amenity offering, modernizing the elevators, renovating the fitness center and executing a spec suite program to raise the building’s profile.
