American Sunglass, on Main Street in Falmouth, is one of several retail stores that Charlotte Miller and her family run along the Cape. She said her stores usually have about 75 employees on the payroll, but she only has about 40 right now.

The Circle of Friends Tea Gift Basket Giveaway closed on May 1. The winning entry was selected at 9:30 a.m. Monday, with Katrina Custer winning the High Tea Gift Basket.

NEW ULM Brandon Miller, 42, of New Ulm, passed away at his home in New Ulm on Monday, April, 26, 2021.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am on Friday, April 30, 2021 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Burial will follow at Cambria Cemetery.
The visitation will be 4:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – SOUTH Chapel in New Ulm. The visitation will continue 9:00-11:00 am on Friday, April 30, 2021 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in New Ulm.
Social distancing guidelines must be practiced, and all guests in attendance at the visitation and funeral will be required to wear a mask.
