Everyone loves shiny, new ballparks especially shiny, new Major League parks.
But every new park leaves an old one behind, an old one that more often than not is demolished.
Baseball fans mourn the loss of Ebbets Field who weren t even alive when it was torn down.
Tiger fans still cherish Tiger Stadium. Yankee fans miss the original Yankee Stadium. Pirates fans wax nostalgic about Forbes Field.
The list goes on and on.
Some people even have have fond memories of the first Comiskey Park.
