Homicide suspected in death of woman on Charlemange Advertisement Sterling Heights police say they recently took a person of interest into custody after a woman was found dead. Police said they began investigating an apparent homicide case at around 3 p.m. July 24 in the 43000 block of Charlemagne Avenue, near 19 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue. Police said a woman was found dead, and on July 26, they identified her as Kathleen Hales, 48, from Sterling Heights.  “Our hearts and prayers go out to the victim’s family during this very difficult time,” Sterling Heights Police Lt. Mario Bastianelli said in a statement.

(FOX 2) - The Sterling Heights Police Department said it is investigating the death of a woman who was found inside a home in the city. According to the police department, they were called around 3 p.m. to a home on Charlemagne Avenue to a deceased woman. When police arrived, they found the woman and said the cause of death appears to be a homicide. Police did not release further details about the woman, including her age or what may have led to her death.
