KALISPELL â COVID-19 cases are on the rise again in Flathead County with 137 active cases of the virus reported on Monday.
âWeâre seeing the Delta variant here; we donât know to what extent yet, Flathead County Health Officer Joe Russell told MTN News.
Russell said new variants of COVID-19 are leading to an uptick in active cases in Flathead County which currently leads the entire state of Montana in active cases of the virus.

KALISPELL â Several Flathead County businesses are continuing to enforce a mask mandate and MTN News spoke with them to see why.
Gov. Greg Gianforte may have lifted the mask mandate but at Bias Brewing in Kalispell, a mask is still required.
âNow that the mask mandate has been removed, we re not changing the way that we re operating,â Bias Brewing co-owner Gabe Mariman explained.
