It was a sickening attack which sent shockwaves rippling across the city.
A woman in her 20s was walking through a park in Wythenshawe after meeting friends, when she was randomly targeted by a group of men and raped.
This week, Kirkup Gardens should have been packed with people enjoying the sunny weather.
Instead, it has been marred by the horrific nature of what happened shortly after 12.30am on Tuesday.
