GARWOOD, NJ Lidl, a chain grocery store, is planning to open a new store in Garwood sometime this summer.
Garwood Mayor Sara Todisco said the store at 10 South Ave. in Garwood, where the former Pathmark Supermarket used to be, is planning to open in June or July. We appreciate the support of the mayor and local officials, and we look forward to opening the store for the community in the future, said William Harwood a spokesman with Lidl.
