Multiple teams were formed and various hideouts and rented houses of the probable suspects were raided in the last two days. On Tuesday, the Dispur Police arrested 10 thieves during different operations conducted across the city. Most of the arrested snatchers and burglars are from Dhubri, Barpeta, Nalbari, Darrang, Kamrup (R), Goalpara, and Kamrup (M) districts. They live either in rented houses or take shelter in under construction/abandoned buildings, the police said.
