HCMC targets lower investments in IPs this year

With concerns over land shortage and the unpredictable Covid-19 situation, the HCMC Export Processing and Industrial Zone Authority (HEPZA) has set this year’s investment attraction target US$200 million lower than last year.
According to a HEPZA representative, fresh and additional capital registered at the city s industrial parks and export processing zones exceeded US$760 million last year, up 52% against the 2020 target and 17% against 2019.

at the 31st Southeast Asia Games (
SEA Games 31), to be held from November 21 to
December 2 in Hanoi and ten nearby localities.
The
Vietnam Shooting Federation has prepared plans for competition at international
tournaments and SEA Games 31. Several domestic tournaments have been organised to
allow shooters to fine-tune their skills.
Fencers, meanwhile, have maintained regular training in preparation for the Games.
The Taekwondo team said they will do their utmost to protect the results from
their previous Games appearance, when Vietnam was in the top three best teams.

Authorities in the central city of Danang have decided to waive admission fees for many local tourist attractions next year.
Under the decision, visitors to the Marble Mountains, Danang Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Cham Sculpture will be totally exempted from entrance fees in 2021.
