Karachi: Thousands visited the Marigold Flower Festival at a park at a famous colonial-era monument in downtown Karachi.
The Horticulture Department of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) organised the Marigold Festival at the park of Frere Hall, a 156-year-old iconic building on Abdullah Haroon Road.
Sindh Law and Environment Adviser Barrister Murtaza Wahab along with Administrator Karachi Laeeq Ahmed inaugurated the exhibition.
Speaking on the occasion, Sindh Law Adviser said the KMC had rendered the best service to people of Karachi by organising the colourful and lively festival.
He said the Sindh government would fully support the KMC to organise such activities for recreation of the public.
