WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ga. One person is facing charges after a car chase ended in a wreck in Washington County Friday morning.
According to a Facebook post from the Washington County Sheriff s Office, Georgia State Patrol was chasing a stolen car when it ended in a wreck in the area of Fall Line Freeway just east of Saffold Road.
Georgia State Patrol says a trooper saw a black Nissan sedan driving west at a high speed on State Route 24 near mile marker 22 in Washington County just before 9:30 a.m.
The trooper checked the car s speed at 92 mph in a 60 mph zone. That s when he activated his blue lights and siren, and tried to stop the car.

The Sandersville Police Department has identified another suspect in the Waffle House shooting on Mother’s Day.
The suspect has been identified as Terrance Oliver, AKA “T-Black”.
