Advisors to President of Mongolia appointed

On June 28, 2021, President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh issued an ordinance, appointing his policy advisors as follows.  Professor of law Byambajargal Altangerel, who served as deputy director of the Law School of the National University of Mongolia in 2017-2021, as his legal policy advisor,  Economist and former advisor to Minister of Finance Batsuuri Davaadalai as his economic policy advisor,  Odbayar Erdenetsogt, who had been serving as the Executive Director of the International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries since 2018 as his foreign policy advisor,  Lodoiravsal Choimaa, Vice President for Research, International and Corporate Relations at the National University of Mongolia as his education, science and technological policy advisor, 

ITT-LLDCs Board of Governors convenes virtually

2020-12-22 12:18:45 Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Board of Governors of the International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries (ITT-LLDCs) held its second meeting virtually on December 21.   Representatives of countries that ratified the Multilateral Agreement for the Establishment of an International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries - Armenia, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Mongolia, Nepal, Nigeria, Paraguay, Tajikistan, and Ethiopia – took part in the meeting, discussing the ITT’s 2019 Financial Report, labor regulations, 2020 action plan and its financing.     In his opening remarks, Chair of the Board of Governors, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Munkhjin underlined that the LLDCs need to actively support the ITT’s activities to address the challenges faced during the COVID-19 pandemic and mitigate the impacts of the pandemic.
