Events such as 9/11 attack and subsequent disasters such as such as Hurricane Katrina, the BP Oil Spill, Hurricane Sandy, and now, back in my home state, the Louisiana Floods, have advanced a cadre of disaster. Connor Scott is chief of staff for security and acting vice president for security for The Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Medicine. Mr. Scott oversees security operations for Johns Hopkins Medicine hospitals and facilities in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Florida, and university campus safety and security worldwide.
Mr. Scott has served as the chief of staff for the Office of the Vice President for Security since April 2018. In that role, he has been involved in all aspects of the day-to-day security operations at Johns Hopkins, and is critical to the development and implementation of strategic programs, processes and initiatives.
