John Deck, General Manager, AC Hotel Greenville Downtown, began his hospitality career as an intern for Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, at the Hyatt Regency Greenville. Over the course of his career, John progressed through a variety of management positions within the company, including Outlet Manager, Banquet Manager and later Food & Beverage Director of the Hyatt Regency Charlotte.
In 2005, John joined JHM Hotels, as the F&B Director of the Marriott Greenville. Shortly after, he was promoted to Hotel Manager and then General Manager of the property which he then managed for 6 years. From there, John became the General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Suites Atlanta NW. Most recently, John was the Corporate F&B Director for Auro Hotels which he oversaw the Portfolio’s F&B Operations. John is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
