The La Jolla Village Merchants Association is making steady progress toward what it calls its “activation event” for Wall Street. Leaning toward a public market/street fair, the group sent a survey to merchants and completed the request-for-proposal process to find a market manager.

Community Crops is leasing a 12-acre piece of property from the Lincoln Airport Authority to put in cover crops, create habitat for pollinators, and give new farmers a chance to get started The “Air Park Farm” will be the first urban agriculture plot of its kind in Lincoln.
