The Clifton Arms in Blackburn is one of just 10 pubs from across the country to reach the finals of the awards, which have been organised by PubAid and the All-Party Parliamentary Beer Group. The Clifton Arms Recognised for its community support during lockdown, the team at the Clifton Arms, on Grimshaw Park, stayed connected to their community by sending out boxes of essential groceries to vulnerable locals and provided hot meals and clothing for the homeless.

Thousands of Britons were barely able to contain their excitement this week as pub gardens were allowed to open for the first time in 2021. Yet, many would readily admit, a bit of protection from the elements would not go amiss. Fortunately for them, a community pub in Brighton is now offering just that. The Bevy in Hillside has just unveiled a row of newly built wooden cabins ahead of its grand reopening today, giving patrons a plush drinking experience while sticking to the government guidelines surrounding hospitality venues.
