Hope for Health Community Day Drive Thru Event

Hope for Health Community Day Drive Thru Event NC MedAssist, a nonprofit free pharmacy, in partnership with the Community Free Clinic and Cooperative Christian Ministry, will be hosting the Hope for Health Community Day on Saturday, May 22, 9am-2pm. The event is drive thru and will connect people to FREE healthcare, medications and the local food bank. There will be free medication giveaways, food bags, and other items. The event is free and open to the public. To ensure that everyone receives all they need, pre-registration is encouraged, but not required. Sorry about missing you last week. I got a stomach bug and it was really hard to look at the computer screen and try to write. My head and stomach feel much better. I’ve been fortunate that was probably the first time I have been sick since the pandemic hit. I guess limited contact with people and wearing a mask has its advantages. No. 1 Talking journalism and broadcasting. I was delighted when Kiersten Eury asked me if I would speak to some of her classes. Monday we had three sections online with journalism, publication and broadcasting students from West Cabarrus, Cox Mill and Jay M. Robinson. Ms. Eury, Ms. Ramsey, Ms. Meehan and Ms. Corl’s students had really good questions. I’m not sure I answered them all. I enjoy telling people our industry.
