Jammu, March 12: The protets by DDC Members was successful as Chairpersons of 20 DDC s in Jammu and Kashmir are likely to get the status aequivalent with Mayors.
After the meeting Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha assured them that the Warrant of Precedence in respect of DDC chairpersons, vice chairpersons and members as per demands. “

Parents said “Our children are still very small. A child around 10 - 11 years cannot be made to attend school for long hours wearing masks and maintaining Covid protocols.

We are ready to clear all dues but we cannot compromise on the safety of our children.

As directed by government school has neither taken any consent form from us nor has assured any safety..
