Idaho Falls Police investigating crash involving vehicle and wheelchair-bound man

IDAHO FALLS – A wheelchair-bound man has been hospitalized after getting hit by a vehicle in Idaho Falls Thursday afternoon.
Idaho Falls Police Department spokeswoman Jessica Clements tells EastIdahoNews.com the crash occurred on Saturn Avenue and Broadway Street just before 3 p.m.
Witnesses say the wheelchair-bound man was crossing the street at the time of the crash.
Kerry Hammon with the Idaho Falls Fire Department says the 50-year-old man has minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. She isn’t sure which hospital.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - For the second time this week, a teen was killed in a Cincinnati shooting.
This time, it was a double shooting in South Fairmount.
A vehicle with two shooting victims arrived at University of Cincinnati Medical Center late Monday, Cincinnati police said in a news release they tweeted out early Tuesday.

A Marion man has been taken into custody after allegedly assaulting his live-in North LIberty girlfriend.
Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Washington Avenue just after midnight Thursday. They allege that 27-year-old Eric Lockwood of Saturn Avenue assaulted the woman by punching her several times in the head and abdominal area with a closed fist.
Officers observed visible injuries to the victim.
Lockwood has a history of domestic assault, having been convicted in Cedar County in 2014 and in Linn County in 2017. He has been charged with his third offense, which is a Class D Felony punishable by a prison sentence of up to five years if convicted.
