Hard seltzer has become the official drink of every summer, and with all these options, there s an obvious need for a ranking.
Once again, I enlisted my sommelier boyfriend to join me on a ranking of Texas hard seltzer variety packs and the OG hard seltzer, White Claw. Nine brands, 35 different seltzers this was a true marathon tasting.
We scored each seltzer on a 20-point scale: 10 points maximum for flavor, five points maximum each for how well the seltzer holds its fizz, a big problem I tend to find with hard seltzer, and five points maximum for how much it made us feel like we were having a truly hot girl summer while drinking it. (Yes, this is highly subjective, but the prime location for seltzer sipping is the pool and the drink has to fit the vibe.)
