When it came to hot hands at Harrington Raceway, no sulky sitter could match the mitts of driver Montrell Teague who lit the lamp six times on the Monday card.
Teague piloted a pair of Josh Green-trainees, Eric Good’s Carlisimo ($2.60) and KDP Stable’s Anytime N ($3.20) to victories early in the card. Anytime N’s 1:53 win came in the co-featured $17,000 conditioned pace for mares over Feeling Sweet and Shesarocker.
One race later, Teague chauffeured American Admiral ($2.80) to his third straight win for owners David Hamm and Rodney Long and current meet leading trainer Chuck Crissman. Teague then scored wins with Bill Sartin’s Twin B Betty ($4.60) and Mike West and Jason Johnson’s Three Dragons ($6.40) and Roy Salute’s Own It ($8.40).

Moments Of Joy was game in winning the Mares Select Pace at Dover Downs on Wednesday night (Feb. 3).
Moments Of Joy turned misfortune into fortune and found the winner’s circle. Last week, a knee boot slipped and forced her into an equipment break. This week, it was a perfect journey with driver Victor Kirby, which proved the difference between victory and defeat.
Moments Of Joy and Edge Of Eternity left alertly and established early positioning at the quarter pole. Driver Andrew McCarthy eased Edge Of Eternity back to the front before blistering the opening quarter in :27. The half was reached in :55.4.
