Quebec City Convention Centre adds hybrid event studio
The Quebec City Convention Centre has installed a new broadcast room, for virtual and hybrid events.
The studio is located in one of the four sections of the Convention Centre’s 25,000 square feet Multipurpose Hall 2000. It was designed in partnership with AV company Encore.
The broadcasting space can be transformed to accommodate up to 250 participants while respecting the two-meter physical distancing requirement.
Pierre-Michel Bouchard, president and CEO of the Québec City Convention Centre, commented: “We opted for a solution focused on versatility, rather than setting up a permanent studio.
“This is what sets our new multifunctional broadcast room apart. In addition to being equipped with the necessary technologies and equipment, this space can be adapted for any projects that event planners wish to organise, with or without the presence of participants.”
