Police seize 16 unregistered guns in arrest of Cohasset man

A Cohasset resident has been arraigned on several gun-related charges. Jeffrey Granoff, age 49 of Cohasset, was arrested last weekend and charged with 16 counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, 16 counts of failing to register a firearm, and an additional count of possession of ammunition. On May 22, detectives assigned to the Cohasset Police Criminal Investigation Division received detailed information related to the presence of numerous illegally-owned firearms in Granoff’s home at 25 Chittenden Lm. The information, Cohasset Police Chief Bill Quigley said, was relayed to police while conducting a separate investigation. Granoff, police stated, does not have a license to carry a firearm.

Police Beat: Cohasset man arrested for exposing himself on Town Common

Wicked Local Police were called to the area of 55 North Main St. on Sunday evening with reports of a man exposing himself on the Town Common. A passerby called Cohasset Police when she saw a man with his pants dropped below his thighs exposing himself in front a car parked on the Common. After initially passing the man while on a run, the reported party stated that she ran to a friend’s house, where the two got in their car and drove back through the Common to find the man still displaying himself. Officers arrived on scene to find a male matching the description with his pants pulled down standing next to a parked Honda Accord.

Quincy Couple Arrested, Due in Court for Train Station Robberies Monday

NBC Boston A Quincy, Massachusetts, couple is due in court Monday in relation to two unarmed robberies that incited fear throughout the city s Asian-American community last month. Two people of Asian descent were robbed one suffered serious injuries near the North Quincy train station on Feb. 18. After about a month of investigation, authorities arrested Brian Kenney, 34, and his wife Angelina Kenney, 38, at their home on Friday. Braintree police arrest 1, seize 300 pounds of marijuana in investigation

BRAINTREE Police arrested a Boston man and seized more than 330 pounds of marijuana and a handgun following an investigation at Lennox Farms apartments complex. In a press release, Braintree Police said they were doing surveillance at the complex at 550 Liberty St. which led to the arrest of Jamir Castillo, 29, of Roslindale. Castillo was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, unlawful possession of a large-capacity firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.  Castillo was released after posting a $25,000 bail and was arraigned in Quincy District Court on Wednesday. He is expected back in court on March 17.  On Tuesday, members of the Braintree Police Drug Control Unit were at the apartment complex following up on information about drug activity in the area.
