Talk About Clyde: City hires Garcia as rec administrator

Konner Garcia is Clyde’s new recreational administrator. He has been on the job since mid-March putting things in place for summer activities at Community Park.
“It’s been enjoyable getting things rolling,” he said. He has been busy lining up and putting together teams for T-ball and Knothole leagues, meeting with coaches and passing out equipment.
Later there will be Kids Camps to plan for in June and July. He said they will be trying to maintain social distancing as much as possible. Independence Day fireworks will be held on July 3, but any other activities are yet to be determined, because of the uncertainty of COVID-19 guidelines that are subject to change.

CLYDE - Nathan Stickney of Idaho has wonderful memories of attending Clyde High School. As he traveled around the world since graduating in 2005, the high school-era photos which tied him to his past became tucked away mementos of the fun and friends he once had.
So when a house fire destroyed the photos, his wife Cady Stickney reached out to the residents of Clyde in the hope of finding a few photos of a young Nathan.
They sent her dozens.
“I thought maybe two or three people would send me a group photo. I had no idea I’d get so many individual photos of Nate,” she said.
