Two More Musical Guests Announced for Kroger Symphony on the Prairie
INDIANAPOLIS Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and the Nauti Yachtis featuring Josh Kaufman have been added to the 2021 season of Kroger Symphony on the Prairie.
Tickets for these shows will go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is scheduled for July 23 and 24. Together for nearly 30 years, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy continues its decades-long mission to celebrate and revitalize jazz and swing music.
The Nauti Yachtis featuring Josh Kaufman are set for August 13. They’re sure to bring a smile to your face as you sail back to the 1980s with music from Hall & Oates, Christopher Cross, Jackson Browne, and more. They will be joined by Josh Kaufman, the 2014 winner of Season 6 of “The Voice”.

Symphony on Prairie to return after pandemic cancellation

FISHERS, Ind. (AP) The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra is bringing back its popular Symphony on the Prairie performances, a year after the pandemic forced the cancellation of the long-running outdoor concert series.
Officials announced Monday that this year s Kroger Symphony on the Prairie season will begin June 25 with the symphony s rendition of songs by The Beatles performed for an audience on the grassy lawn at suburban Indianapolis’ Conner Prairie. A series of other performances will be held throughout the summer at the venue in Fishers, just north of Indianapolis, with the last performances set for early September. Tickets go on sale May 24.
