GROESBECK, Texas (KWTX) - Services have been scheduled in Groesbeck for slain Central Texas
Public visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. next Tuesday at Groesbeck Funeral Home at 1215 East Yeagua St.
The funeral home will be open to receive visitors from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. daily including Good Friday, but will be closed on Easter Sunday.

A police chase on State Highway 14 toward Mexia Friday evening ended with 2 suspects apprehended.
On Friday, January 29, 2021, around 6:05 p.m., an officer with the Groesbeck Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1300 block of North Ellis Street for a speeding violation.
The vehicle failed to yield and began evading at a high rate of speed, according to police.
The officer initiated a pursuit traveling north on State Highway 14 toward Mexia.
State troopers responded to assist and successfully deployed spike strips south of Mexia.
