Obits, Thursday, April 1st, 2021 April 1 funeral announcements Services for a Waverly man, 79 year old Paul Mardorf, are Saturday at 10:30am at Redeemer Lutheran church in Waverly. The service will be live-streamed on the church Facebook page. Burial in Harlington cemetery. Visitation is 4-6pm Friday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly, and an hour before services at the church.
A Strawberry Point man, 89 year old Lowell Rodas, died Thursday. Private family services will be held at a later date. Inurnment in Cass Township cemetery. Leonard Muller funeral home in Strawberry Point is handling the arrangements.
A rural Rowley man, 93 year old Leo Kress, died Monday. No services are planned. Burial of cremains will be at Quasqueton cemetery at a later date. White funeral home in Independence is in charge of arrangements. ....

Vogue SATX LLC bought the six-story Vogue building at Navarro and East Houston streets on Dec. 23, deed records show. The entity is registered to Sanjay Misra, a local physician, according to state filings. The purchase price was not disclosed, but the building was assessed at $4.4 million last year by the Bexar Appraisal District. ....
