Russell coming off strong start
Wolves update: Minnesota has lost two straight since a season-best four-game winning streak. … G Anthony Edwards is coming off a 42-point performance in which he hit 17 of 22 shots and eight of nine three-pointers. Back in the starting lineup for the first time since returning from injury, G D Angelo Russell had 22 points and a season-high 14 assists. It was his third 20-10 game of the season and the 19th of his career. His 14 assists were the most since he played for Brooklyn in 2019. C Karl-Anthony Towns has hit a three-pointer in 79 straight games. Jaden McDaniels (personal reasons) is out.
