Ojha, Tadakamalla, Dutta to start disputes firm Phoenix Legal Delhi-based insurance disputes partners Mrinal Ojha, Trinath Tadakamalla and Debarshi Dutta have resigned from the firm and are expected to be in the process of setting up their own law firm, called Solaris Legal. According to a statement from Phoenix, they were “primarily part” of the firm’s insurance disputes practice. The firm said: “We enjoyed working with them and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.” We understand that the three of them will be starting up their own firm. Oyo is one of SoftBank’s biggest bets and the Japanese group has poured more than $1 billion into the company, in which it owns a 46% stake. The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) notice said it was appointing a resolution professional for Oyo’s subsidiary, Oyo Hotels and Homes Pvt Ltd, and inviting all creditors to submit any claims it may have against the company. ....
