Man, mother die in road accident

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A motorcyclist and his mother were killed when hit by a speeding Datsun pick-up on Dera-Darya Khan road in the jurisdiction of Gomal University Police Station on Sunday. The police said that Gulistan alias Jano along with his mother Ghulam Bibi was riding a bike when struck by a speeding Datsun pick-up 4024-KPK on Dera-Darya Khan road. As a result, Gulistan died on the spot while his mother sustained critical injuries. The injured woman was taken to the Civil Hospital in Dera Ismail Khan but later also succumbed to her injuries. Ramzan Baloch, the uncle of deceased Gulistan, got registered a case against the driver of the Datsun pick-up.

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A charred body of a man was found near Malik Market in the limits of Gomal University Police Station on Sunday.
The police said that they had found a burnt-out body of 36-year old man identified as Gula Khan Dotani near Malik Market on Dera Bypass road. They said that unidentified gunmen had first shot dead the man and then sprinkled kerosene oil on his body and set it on fire. The police established the identity of the slain man from the torched weapon license in his pocket.
