Saint John police continue to investigate a suspicious fire at the Fort La Tour historical site.
Last week, police shared photos of two people they were looking to identify as part of the investigation.
In a post made on their Twitter account Thursday morning, police said the two people have been identified.
“Thank you all for your information and the investigation into the incident is ongoing,” said the post.
Emergency crews
were called to the site just after 2:30 a.m. on May 19 and found the roof of a building on fire.
In the wake of the suspicious fire at the historic Fort La Tour site along Saint John’s Harbour Passage, the group behind the re-development project is now raising funds to help recover from the incident.
The Saint John Police Force is asking for the public s assistance in identifying individuals related to an investigation into a suspicious fire at the Fort La Tour National Historic Site in Saint John, N.B.
