Gold Country Senior Services future senior center acting as COVID-19 test site

FROM A PRESS RELEASE: The ink hardly had time to dry on the escrow documents before Gold Country Senior Services’ long-awaited Senior Center became the new COVID-19 testing site. “We recently closed escrow on the old Summer Thyme’s Bakery & Deli building in Grass Valley,” Executive Director Janeth Marroletti explained. “One week later we were collaborating with Nevada County staff to put part of the premises into use. Located at 231 Colfax Avenue, Grass Valley, this building is already serving Nevada County during a critical time.
