AN AWARD winning Nailsworth restaurant is to be converted into b and b rooms. Wild Garlic, which received a recommendation in the Michelin Guide for 2021, is going to be made into rooms to let. The Cossack Square venue was headed up by Chef Patron Matthew Beardshall, who will continue to share his culinary expertise at Wilder, on Market Street in Nailsworth. In a statement on the Wild Garlic website, the team said: For over 13 years we have loved serving the good folk of Nailsworth (and beyond), however, it is with sadness, we have taken the decision to convert Wild Garlic Restaurant into more rooms, adding to our existing five letting rooms.

Wild Garlic, and Wilder, both in Nailsworth have been named in the acclaimed guide. The two venues are headed up by Chef Patron Matthew Beardshall. The guide s post on Cossack Square eaterie Wild Garlic says: This attractive little restaurant is the place to come for a great neighbourhood atmosphere. All-encompassing modern bistro menus include artisan pastas, which are something of a speciality. And of Wilder, which is on Market Street, it says: Humble ingredients are used in well-balanced, ambitious combinations. The 2021 Michelin Guide of Great Britain and Ireland 2021 was launched on January 25. Michelin said the decision to move the publication and launch from the usual October date would allow time for the hospitality industry to get back on its feet.
