Two Buhari Must Go campaigners arrested in Kogi

Daily Post Nigeria Published Two anti Buhari protesters have been arrested by the Kogi State Command of the Nigerian Police Force. DAILY POST gathered that the two persons were caught at about 2:30am while carrying out smear campaign against President Mohammadu Buhari in Lokoja, the Kogi State Capital. It was further learnt that they were painting buildings and carrying posters with the inscription that “Buhari Must Go” Confirming the incident, the Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Ayuba Edeh told DAILY POST that while the people have the right to protest, it must be done lawfully without inciting the public. According to him, the young men could not have been protesting at the wee hours of the night, just as he stressed that painting walls, buildings and pasting anti Buhari posters can not be termed as peaceful protest.

Police rescue twin babies locked up by mother in Ekiti

Daily Post Nigeria Published The Police Command in Ekiti has rescued two-year-old twin babies locked up in a room by their mother for three days. A statement by Sunday Abutu, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, said the incident happened in Igbara-Odo, Ekiti South-West Local Government Area. Abutu said the command acted on a distress call by a good Samaritan at about 9:45 am on Monday. The Rapid Response Squad (RRS) rushed to the scene and secured the kids. The suspect, identified as Joy Fatoba, is in custody. The PRO said Fatoba disclosed the twins’ father travelled to Calabar during pregnancy and had refused to take care of her and the kids.
