The Dish: Jersey Mike’s Subs in Riverside helps make wishes come true By Susie Costaregni
Scene… The staff of the Jersey Mike’s Subs in Riverside and employees of PepsiCo raised over $25,000 for Make-A-Wish Connecticut by holding a “Day of Giving” event last Wednesday. On that day, 100 percent of all sales went to charity at sub shops nationwide. It was all part of the shop’s “Month of Giving” event.
Brian O’Hagan, owner of Jersey Mike’s in Riverside, and
Carl Kazmierczak, VP of PepsiCo sales, were on hand to make the local check presentation. The nonprofit Make-A-Wish Foundation helps fulfill the wishes of children with critical illnesses.
