1. The Dr. Phillips boys water polo team’s hunt for its first state title came up short in a 22-11 championship game loss against Miami Gulliver Prep Saturday, April 17. The runner-up Panthers (17-3) saw multi-goal outings from Sam Collinwood, Liam Ortiz, Brady Kossoff and Colin Bryant each scored two goals apiece for the Panthers.
2. The Windermere boys track-and-field team walked away with the Class 4A, District 9 title Saturday, April 17. The Wolverines who finished 20 points ahead of Olympia and 30 points ahead of Dr. Phillips saw wins in the 3200-meter relay (Adams, Braswell, Buck, Cavalcanti), 3200-meter run (Hallie Buck), 1600-meter relay (Hill, Noto, Rivers, White), triple jump (Nasir White) and javelin (Ryan Flournoy).

Sitetracker, which specializes in helping companies deploy, operate and service critical infrastructure and technology, announced it raised an additional $42 million in Series C funding. Investor H.I.G. Growth Partners led the latest round of funding, which brought the total investment into Sitetracker to $92 million. The company expects this most recent investment to accelerate its product roadmap and continued global expansion.
