A new wave of cash is flooding into Ohio to help renters hit by the COVID-19 pandemic pay their rent and utilities.
The federal Emergency Rental Assistance Program is sending $775 million to Ohio, with $565 million earmarked for the state and the remainder being doled out to large cities and counties. Gov. Mike DeWine this week signed House Bill 167 into law, which spells out how the state will administer its chunk.
Columbus City Schools will hold in-person high school graduation ceremonies June 2nd through the 5th.
Ceremonies for 16 schools will be held at the Columbus Convention Center. East High School and Columbus Early College ceremonies will be held in their buildings, and ceremonies for Columbus Scioto students will be held at the Southland administrative building.
Students will be limited to two guests, and attendees must wear masks and maintain social distancing. More information is available on the district website.
