Through the early months of the pandemic, pianist Min Kwon felt like her palms had been tied. Live shows had been canceled, her younger youngsters had been adjusting to on-line college, and division and dying appeared to loom in every single place.
That is when she obtained the concept for a mission that might rejoice America’s range and creativity.
“I needed to essentially create one thing new that shed mild and supplied a snapshot of the very complicated time that all of us had been experiencing collectively, as Individuals,” says Kwon, a professor of piano at Rutgers College’s Mason Gross Faculty of the Arts.
