Forget partisan blame game; fix beleaguered Kansas unemployment system

It s time to get beyond the partisan blame game and fix problems with Kansas unemployment system By The Editorial Advisory Board When things go bad, there’s always a temptation to look for an easy villain. In the case of the Kansas Department of Labor’s delay in processing unemployment applications for state residents, few have avoided just this temptation. But moderates say the party needs to be more patient and give the centrists some space to work. And there’s not a lot of time: Critical unemployment benefits now expire on March 14.
