111 Live wasn’t an in-person concert, but regardless the production value, power of raw performances and attention to detail made the online event feel private and powerful.
The benefit on Sunday night was to commemorate the one year anniversary of the Happy Hour Fund, a mutual aid organization working out of Washington D.C. and Los Angeles to help financially assist excluded workers, such as sex workers, incarcerated people, workers with disabilities or other people disproportinately affected by the pandemic. All proceeds from the event were donated to the fund.
Solange Just Teased New Music on Instagram and the Fan Reactions Are Perfect
We re ready. Feb 13 2021, 9:59 am EST
It seems as though 2021 might be looking up already. On Friday, Solange Knowles teased new music by posting an Instagram Live video. Understandably, fans were pretty excited about the prospect of finally getting another Solange album.
Not all of the music that Solange shared was new. The backing track will sound familiar to fans of the artist as it s the instrumental used in Solange s Metatronia (Metatron s Cube), a 2018 interdisciplinary installation in collaboration with Uniqlo, featuring sculpture and dance. In the new version of the track, Solange has added lyrics, and listeners praised the beautiful composition.

NEW SALEM – The annual Lions Club Auction is just around the corner and organizers are busy getting things set for the event. The auction is set for Feb. 27, but due to the pandemic, changes will be in place this year.
“The biggest change this year will be on sale day. We will not have a live bidding auction. Everything will be online only,” club president Michael Niedenthal said.
“These changes are set to both help protect all Lions Club members as well as the public. Without the big crowd this year, we believe we can cut back on the possibilities of exposures,” Niedenthal added.

Reagan Ciabattoni
Rock it old school back to 1960: “She’s a mean motor scooter and a bad go-getter.” That describes Reagan when the ball is dropped between the lines, but otherwise she is just the nicest kid. Just don’t cross sticks with her. Reagan was named the 2020 Player of the Year in Delaware Division I field hockey, helping Cape to its ninth state title in the last 10 years. A cage fighter with a mask, Reagan plays defense when the other team gets a corner and charges the ball with no regard for life or limb, for herself or the shooter. And on offensive corners, her high-ball hitting and backhand slapping are legendary. Her goals are always heard before seen, like thunder and lightning. Reagan joins Jacki Coveleski, Tiara Duffy, Tess Bernheimer, Alia Marshall and Cami Smith as Vikings who’ve earned Player of the Year. Reagan will play club ball this winter and in the spring help out the girls’ track team.
