COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. - Thousands of Oregonians crowded Main street to kickoff the annual parade on Saturday for the first Bohemia Mining Days celebration in two years. Many residents said this year s festivities had higher attendance than year s past.
Last year s events were cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions. I honestly think it means a lot for a lot of people, Cottage Grove resident Kieylie Wisely said.
Wisely said this event was extra special because of how people were to finally get out of the house.
