The Carrot River Fire Department has welcomed a new truck into their hall. Fire Chief Bryce Lytle said the new truck was a need for them to help serve the RM better as another current vehicle is too heavy for some wetter areas. He said this 2020 pumper truck will be a great help to them. “(The truck) allows us to get into the field better,” Lytle said. “Little more ground clearance than what we had on the last truck, as well as having that option for four-wheel drive in the event that we do get ourselves into a little bit of softer ground, we’re able to lock everything up and get out of there.”
