Devilettes finish magical season 30-5
As Lebanon High s incredible march to the finals of the 2021 TSSAA BlueCross Basketball Championships began in earnest back in early February, it became apparent the Devilettes were the darlings of our close-knit community.

Devilettes take over in 4th quarter -
LEBANON â Relying on a dominating rebounding effort and deadly aim from the line in the fourth quarter, Lebanon broke open a nip-and-tuck struggle on the way to a 58-45 win over Northwest Wednesday in the Region 5-AAA championship game at Campbell Brandon Gymnasium.
With the victory, Lebanon improved to 27-4 on the season and will entertain Cane Ridge Saturday at 7 p.m. in a Class 3A Sectional game. Northwest, 25-3, travels to Page High with Saturday s winners earning a spot in the TSSAA BlueCross Championships March 10-13 at MTSU s Murphy Center.
The Lady Vikings broke out of the gate with a 15-7 first quarter, then watched Lebanon tie the score at 21-all with 2:42 remaining in the half on a deep 3-pointer by Devilette guard Addie Porter.
Devilettes to host NWHS in finals
LEBANON Scoring the last 15 points of the game at the free throw line, Lebanon rode yet another strong rebounding performance in Monday s 50-39 win over Rossview in the Region 5-AAA semifinals at Campbell Brandon Gymnasium.

Guards Addie Porter and Terri Reynolds carried much of the offensive load as Porter scored 19 points (12-of-15 at the line) and Reynolds added 17 (two 3-pointers).
District 9AAA quarterfinals -
LEBANON â It may have been the quarterfinal rounds of the District 9AAA tournament, but in both ends of Monday s doubleheader at Campbell Brandon Gymnasium the games boiled down to longtime rivals battling each other down to the closing minutes.
Lebanon s No. 1-seeded Devilettes held off an inspired No. 8 Wilson Central 53-46 in the opener and the always-competitive 4 vs. 5 game found Lebanon s boys extending their winning streak to 10 consecutive games with a back-and-forth 57-53 win over the Wildcats,
Both LHS teams advance to Tuesday s semifinal round as the Devilettes entertain No. 4-seeded Green Hill at 6 p.m. while the Blue Devils make the trip to Shackle Island to take on top-seeded Beech.
