The Southern Ohio Pregnancy Center (SOPC) largest annual fundraising event will have a different format this Sunday. Rather than the usual banquet, there will be three different time slots that people can choose from 3 to 3:45 p.m., 4 to 4:45 p.m. or 5 to 5:45 p.m. The event will take place in the Atrium at Good News Gathering.
Cathy Griffith, SOPC executive director, said the event will consist of hors d’oeuvres, two videos made specifically for the event, listening to a short ministry update which is 20 minutes long after each time slot starts, and to pray on the financial gift to the ministry of the SOPC.

Thousands of cosplayers from Delaware to California, and even some from overseas, have a tradition of flocking to Maryland every February for one of the top anime conventions in the world: Katsucon.
The three-day convention would’ve launched Valentine’s Day weekend, but organizers pulled the plug because of the pandemic.
Wilmington resident Jacob Capodanno said ending the con was the right call. But now Capodanno and thousands of others are left with Katsucon memories.
After hearing rave reviews about Katsu, Capodanno finally made his debut in 2020, premiering his original cosplay: Dr. Spider-Man. The cosplay featured Spider-Man in medical scrubs with a box of Uncle Ben’s rice.
