An annual tradition for more than 80 years, the roses at Hershey Gardens are coming into full bloom.
Visitors can see the full glory of 3,500 bushes in their peak on three-and-a-half acres from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week.
As an added bonus for anyone named Rose, admission is free for the month of June.
Paved paths and grassy lanes arching around Swan Lake will take you through a rainbow of fragrant colors as the roses start to peak.
Butterfly Atrium at Hershey Gardens
The conservatory, serving as an architectural anchor for the garden, also houses the Butterfly Atrium. Inside the windowed room with a tall ceiling, butterflies from around the world flutter among visitors in a tropical environment.

Public gardens are a visit-worthy venue this time of year, not only because so many plants are looking good as spring unfolds, but because they’re in the fresh outdoor air and amenable to social-distancing.
