Budget Direct has released the latest instalment in the Insurance Solved saga, showing Sarge, Jacs, and dog Chief.
The work, via 303 MullenLowe and titled The Evidence of Excellence sees Sarge crack the case on why Australians are switching to Budget Direct.
In the 30-second spot, the trio avoids traps to navigate their way into a hidden basement. Once in, they find a safe with robots stacking the shelves with the numerous awards Budget Direct has won. Amongst the spot are easter eggs referencing previous episodes.
Jonathan Kerr, chief growth officer at Budget Direct, said: “Finding a way to shine a bright light on Budget Direct’s leadership in independent insurance awards, that also sat well in our Insurance Solved narrative, was loads of fun and we are absolutely delighted with the outcome.”
How we can entertain ourselves this summer is becoming clearer, as two more Cape Cod theaters, music festivals in Orleans and Provincetown, and a Martha s Vineyard book festival are among the latest groups releasing their plans for the season.
And this entertainment is all live, all in person. (Remember when that wasn’t even a question?) Some of the events are indoors, most outdoors. Take a look:
Provincetown Theater
Provincetown Theater patrons will spend late June through September outdoors, in the new “Playhouse in the Parking Lot.”
The season brings the theater alive after a 16-month hiatus, using a stage being set up in a fenced, park-inspired setting outside the 238 Bradford St. theater. The shows there will include two Cape Cod premieres and one American classic.

Budget Direct’s reoccurring special detectives Sarge and Jac have encountered the world of gaming in their latest adventure, arriving at the scene of a car accident caused by a video game character in his fluorescent, self-repairing vehicle.
The other driver is not so lucky, with the damage to his car requiring Budget Direct’s ‘big cover without the big price’ insurance.
“As an insurer it’s important to highlight the serious consequences of dangerous driving while also showing how we take care of our customers when they are impacted by it. Our campaign’s blend of extraordinary meeting the real world, gave us a unique opportunity to do just that, in the latest instalment in our campaign,” said Jonathan Kerr, Budget Direct’s chief growth officer.

Budget Direct’s sci-fi themed marketing is coming to TikTok, with local creators banding together for ‘BD TV’ and reporting on sightings of giant monsters lurking in Australian cities.
Playing out on the content platform, the Budget Direct news team reveals the opportunity for Australians to win $5,000 dollars by visiting real-world murals depicting a giant lizard fighting a robot and creating a TikTok crying out of the brand to save them.
The social campaign takes inspiration from the latest adventure of Budget Direct’s Sarge and Jac, helping unwitting drivers caught in the cross fire of the giant lizard and robot’s battle.

The highly entertaining latest instalment of Budget Direct’s “Insurance Solved” campaign via 303 MullenLowe Sydney, in which out of this world, extraordinary events wreak havoc upon unsuspecting folk, sees two giant monsters hurling a mangled wreak of a car onto a city roof top.
Bursting onto the scene, Sarge and Jacs approach the bewildered driver just as the monster’s battle reaches an all-time high, as does Sarges’ disbelief at the monstrous insurance policy held by the car’s occupants. Sarge and Jacs make it clear that if the driver was insured with Budget Direct, because the accident was not his fault, he would have been entitled to a hire car while his car gets repaired.
