Help us remove garlic mustard that threatens to take over this valuable woodland. Garlic mustard removal is an easy project for the whole family, but we will be covering a lot of ground so come prepared for a hike.

Most of the efforts will focus on garlic mustard removal.Matthew Clara | Michigan Department of Natural Resources Facebook Share Several state recreation areas in southeast Michigan will host volunteer stewardship workdays this month to aid in the removal of invasive plants that threaten the parks’ ecosystems. There are opportunities this month at five parks in Livingston, Oakland and Washtenaw counties. Most of projects will focus on invasive garlic mustard removal, which is appropriate for the whole family participate in.
